Meet Our Team

David H. Morris , DVM

Dr. Morris and his identical twin brother, Daniel, were born in Roanoke, VA.  Although Virginia Beach was “home base” for the Morris family, Dr. Morris has lived for short periods all over the world, including Germany and even Brazil.  He graduated from Norfolk Academy, received his BS in Biology and Business at the University of Richmond, and finally his DVM at Mississippi State University.  He currently lives in Norfolk with his two French Bulldogs, Daniela and Manchester.

Dr. Morris started Virginia Beach Veterinary Hospital (VBVH) in September of 1993 on the premise that he would offer a style of veterinary practice that educates the client about the care and treatment of their pets, our patients.  Offering complete diagnostic and surgical services, VBVH endeavors to be the premier veterinary hospital for Hampton Roads.  VBVH is currently classified as an AAHA hospital (American Animal Hospital Association).  Having special training in exotic animal medicine and offering such diagnostics as digital radiography and ultrasonography, VBVH has been able to broaden the scope of veterinary care to the Hampton Roads area.

Dr. Morris is pictured with his French Bulldog Daniela.  Also pictured, his Beagle and Whippett, Foster and Austan, are sadly no longer with us.
